Located at 701 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801, Stocker Chevrolet operates as a car dealer serving State College in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In State College, parts stores usually open early and close late seven days a week, while salvage yards keep shorter hours and may charge a small entry fee. Across Pennsylvania, dealer service is the safest route for recall work and warranty repairs, which are free, and for software-heavy jobs on newer cars. Fuel prices change daily and vary block by block, so the listing's location and hours matter more than the brand. For rentals, reserve ahead on weekends and check what insurance the agency requires.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–8 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Stocker Chevrolet at (814) 515-9941; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, stockerchevrolet.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 1,032 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded car dealers in State College.

State College is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around State College is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My daughter just drove back to Peen State when she was hearing a vibration. Stocker chevy took her right away and had the issue fixed in no time. Service department is top notch. Thanks for making me your priority.

Strange, bald, sweaty salesman who couldn't spell was incredibly rude. He acted like he could not believe my friend had the money to spend on a car, and dragged his feet on showing a car that was of interest until he finished his interrogation about how much money was available and all the details of the financing - despite reassurances that both cash, and financing from a credit union, were available. Most dealerships just do a quick check and move on to showing you the vehicle. Eventually, he found the will to get up from his chair. He couldn't get the car to start, then his jumper pack was not working, and he acted like this is normal with a 10 year old car, as if the age of the battery and the age of the car are correlated. In the end, he randomly asked "I have never heard of your credit union. If you have been to other dealerships, how come you have not bought a car already?" I have never encountered such discourtesy at any dealership ever. I guess business is going really well, and they don't need money from new customers. My friend is happily wrapping up a purchase at another dealership; I wouldn't bother with this one.

Ironically we live know where close to Stocker, I found it on Facebook marketplace while truck hunting. After getting in contact with Reid one of the sales guys we decided to take a drive up and check out a Chevy Colorado that was on the lot, sadly I didn’t leave with it, but I did fall in love with a Chevy Equinox. Reid was great to work with, he got me the number I wanted for my trade in and the finance guy we worked with really knew his stuff (I can’t remember his name) all in all it was a great experience and we don’t regret driving the 2 hours! I’m obsessed with my new wheels and I know my dogs are going to love it too 😍

I took my 1500 Silverado in for an oil change and on the way in I realized I also needed inspection. The staff was super friendly and able to fit me into their busy schedule. But that's not the only reason...while I was there someone had a medical emergency and the staff members at Stocker were trained how to handle in a very calm professional manner.

Stopped by to see the new Equinox EV and met Darrick Brown on Saturday. I was impressed with Darrick's follow-up on Monday- and we made a deal on a great new car. The 0% financing and $7,500 rebate is what prompted me to move now. I miss my friends at Johnson Motors / Spitzer in DuBois but since I live in State College now I look forward to working with Stockers on the maintenance of my Equinox as I tend to keep my cars looking nice and properly maintained.
